Responsibilities:

• Ability to handle multiple projects and maintain a high degree of responsibility.
• Supports distribution department with word processing, spreadsheets and data entry.
• Liaises with other departments including production control, quality, customer service, trucking companies and outside contractor.
• Prepare order for shipment.
• Checking and logging orders.
• Bill of lading preparation.
• Maintain forklift operator certification.
• Serve as backup person for order pulling or warehousing as needed.
• Positive customer service attitude.
• Other associated duties.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Knowledge of SAP software
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP, Web Portals.
• 1-3 years experience related to shipping, receiving and logistics.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize accordingly.
