Due to our commitment to supply quality products to the automotive industries of the world, it was decided to establish a location in the United States. In August of 1988, Piolax US began production in Canton, Georgia.
As a leading supplier of plastic and metal products, Piolax is continually strengthening its position by expanding its global marketing and production capabilities. Few companies can provide the depth of knowledge offered with in-house manufacturing that we have developed at Piolax.

- Aug 1988 KHK Established Georgia Corporation
- Jan 1990 KHK of America was merged with Piolax Corporation
- Oct 1991 Purchased 48,000 sq ft building for plastic fastener production
- Apr 1993 Expanded 6,000 sq ft for heat treat factory
- Apr 1995 Expanded 23,000 sq ft for plastic fastener and assembly parts production
- Aug 1996 ISO-9002 registration
- May 1997 QS-9000 registration
- Jan 2000 SAP system - New ERP system
- Aug 2001 Started Mexico operation. (30,000 sqft)
- Nov 2001 Expanded 25,000 sqft for assembly, plastic, and warehouse space
- Nov 2003 TS-16949 registration
- Jan 2004 ISO-14001 registration
- Jul 2004 TS-16949 registration at Mexico plant
- Apr 2006 Expanded 30,000 sq ft. for Mexico production
- Jan 2012 Mexico plant became an independent corporation
- Oct 2015 Metal production started in-house surface treatment
- Sep 2016 Expanded 80,500 sq ft. for automated warehouse
- Dec 2017 IATF-16949 certified
- Jul 2018 Expanded 5,000 sq ft. for #3 heat treat machinery for metals production
- Aug 2018 Celebrated 30th anniversary
